you cant find it at meijers or walmart from what i looked online? where could i go ? garden food service. i live in the metro detroit area in michigan.

Whole Foods might have it. We have local places here that sell it so I have never bought it at a chain before. I think Giant Eagle has it too
you want Vermont Made maple syrup. Check health food stores or classier stores then walmart.

I have been able to find it in stores that sell organic products and I live in Washington state. The organic maple syrup I buy is from Vermont and you are closer to there than I am. Maybe they ship it all west 
When my husband and I lived in Michigan, we bought it at Meijer– The Meijer Gold brand. As somebody said, though it can definitely be found at Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s. Trader Joe’s would be cheaper. (Trader Joe’s is my favorite store. We now live by Bowling Green and either have to go to Royal Oak or Columbus. We used to live in Columbus while my husband attended grad school and that’s when I discovered TJ’s. Every few months, though, we go to either one to stock up at both stores and see friends and eat at favorite restaurants.)
Anyway, there are probably natural food stores as well that would carry it, but they would be more expensive.
It is cheaper and better in Canada, and natural or organic are the sae all it is essentially is boiled down tree sap, no chemical or additive and they do not fertilize trees in the US or Canada.
