Organic foods?

What can you tell me about organic foods?

I get the fact that they are grown with minimal or no chemical growth enhancers, but what else?

Do you have any other facts and do organic fruits and vegetables cost more than regular produce?

Organic food is grown without pesticides and hormones being added to it. It also doesn’t have any commercial fertilizer added.
Think of farming back in the 1950’s except with massive record keeping.
This is a lot of work and you can only handle a small plot of land.
Most of these farmers are hobby farmers that don’t make their living at it, as there isn’t enough money in it.
Most cases the food is higher priced due to the rules and record keeping needed to prove it is organic.
