So. I was wondering what other people think about the organic foods debate, so if you think they are the only foods are good or if some foods don’t matter.

I for one only eat unprocessed foods. I only buy organic meat and eat wild game. In the summer I garden all my vegetables and herbs. But in the winter I buy everything from the store and only my greens and herbs organic. And I make all my own bread and granola bars and everything.

What’s are everyone else’s opinions on this matter? Are organic foods just a trend to some people? Just cause they are organic are they healthy? and anything else you want to throw in!

If truly organic you keep out all the chemicals . Sound like you are doing it as right as you can . You could can for the winter .

There are too many people in the world now to go all natural. Food production went up and prices went down after WW2 as people used cheap oil to make fertilizer, pesticides and antibiotics to grow more veggies and meat. Cheap food lead to rapid population growth. We are on a treadmill that is about to break.

Watch Food, Inc. to get an idea of what has happened in the last 30 years in farming. It a big business now.

Organic food is neither more taste full or healthier than non-organic food… If anything it’s only more expensive and has less taste:

It needs more land to get same amount of food and it uses more dangerous pesticides (YES THEY USE PESTICIDES?!?)
