organic gardening
Anon asked:

I think that even if global warming isn’t real what human kind is doing to the planet - turning it to a suburbian wasteland with exactly 5 types of plants being ok and EVERY thing else being a weed is horrible, especially when those plants people like are non native and take hundreds of gallons of water, pesticides, and fertilizers just to survive each year, in each yard.

What if the government heavily pushed the individual, organic garden? Building codes included greywater(non toilet water that is safe to put on plants as is) and composting toilet systems as nescessary? Outlawed(and enforced) the sale of non native plants, including grasses, for outside planting in every region, town and state? There was a bill passed that every house above a certain energy consumption/emission level(including trash) in say…20 years(to give technology time to catch up) would be fined and every house that complied each year before the deadline would receive major incentives and tax cuts forever?

Starting with the truth would help! Here is an even better movie it has many of the scientists who have their names on the ipcc but actually dropped out and requested their names be removed due to the false information it shares as truth! Check it out and really pay attention it’s 73 minutes long and loaded with the truth about the whole matter!

no one would be able to afford it. the the price of the products that would be needed to do it would go so high that no one could pay for them.

it is called supply and demand.

this is already happening look at solar panels the price should be going down as there are more manufacturers also many are now being made in china with cheap labor.

this is not the case as demand is also going up at a faster rate then the supply.

companies know that if it is required by law then they can raise there prices as high as they want and the people have to pay the price.

If what you propose were enacted you would see a new government come into being, and then green would be gone, there is a point that where too much is too much, and your ideal went way past that point.
