you can make your own compost from your fruit peels and other biodegradable trash. just keep it somewhere away from your house because it stinks after a while
I would build raised beds and get old manure, sand, top soil and mix it all together. Search net for
organic gardeners in your area and find out where they get soil. Be sure to start you a big compost
pile right away. Purchase worms at a bait store and put in your garden an in the compost.
Perhaps you may want to look into Horticulture?
I would say a good organic soil should NOT be derived from animal manure. Just doesn’t sound good for something you will be eating. A local nursery can provide you with much more info on this subject and can probably create an organic soil for you using what they have in stock.
Also, if I may make a suggestion. Buy your seeds online. Find seeds that are open pollinated.
If you buy seed from wal mart or target or lowes or whatever chain you may go to, chances are it is a GMO. Even if it is certified organic. Open pollinated means the seed literally came from nature. And was pollinated by a bird or bee or whatever bug decided to land on that plant. Thus, the plant being true free range organic because it’s coming from generations of natural mother nature.
