organic gardening help
Shannon asked:

They are about the size of a grain of salt. Some are larger, some are smaller. I would like to know if these are harmful to my plants or not. I live in colorado springs colorado, If that helps identify them better. If they are harmful what is a good Organic way of getting rid of them?
They are in planters sitting on the railing of my back porch, if that helps at all.

If they’re like little greenish yellowish balls about 1-2mm across then they’d be earthworm eggs

they might actually be good for the plants. If you are growing tomatoes…its tomatoe food to make it grow! It might be healthy for the plants…but it’s a possibility that it might be earthworm eggs so type in earthworn eggs on google images and compare it withthe tomatoe plant food (do it!)

Could be slow release fertilizer like Osmocote: Usually found in potting soil you buy.
