organic gardening help
MOMO asked:

Hey everyone… My name is Tsering and I have a big entrance test day after tomorrow,Saturday. Grammar is one section of the test that still makes me so nervous. So Grammar experts please help me…

Ex: These differences make it impossible for gardeners in Southern California to follow in an explicit way the advice given in nationally circulated magazine and books on organic gardening.

I think: differences=subject
-make =verb
- it=pronoun antecendent
-impossible=don’t know ?
-for gardeners….in southern california= Prepositional phrase with object
-to follow =infinitive

My question is that what is the rest of the sentence in terms of parts of speech and function. I want to be confident in the test as to how to diagram and identify errors in the sentence.

How do you know that placing ‘in an explicit way next to to follow is correct. Same goes for the rest of the sentence.Phrase/order really confuses me when the the reading comprehension is written in strange grammar.

Thank you very much…All help appreciated. I got this example from a text book.
