A lot of organic farms use natural cow manure as a fertilizer, are vegetables from such farms still vegan?

I’m providing organic products e.g. vegetables, organic foods,
salads, organic fruit juice.etc…

athenaze1 asked:

If so, will putting it in the blender with ice, etc, reduce the mineral content (like iodine, trace minerals, etc)… And, will a blender actually blend the stuff? I’m thinking of getting trying some from Eden Organics and all I have at home to cook with is a rice cooker, microwave, and blender…
Thanks!

Adam asked:

aren’t organic vegetables fertilized with manure since they can’t use chemicals? wouldn’t that be an animal biproduct?
ameen, i’m not vegan, but isn’t it a fair point? why is it a stupid question? we keep the cows in captivity in order to get the manure, we’re not collecting it from wild animals…

I love organic, however I only eat organic meat at the moment [beef, pork, caribou and seal, i hate hate hate chicken] but I’m thinking about going 100% organic [fruits/veggies incl.]

What are some fruits and veggies that are a must-be organic? I know pretty much all of them are, but for starters which ones are the best to have organic?

thanks!

I bought some squash from a vendor and I’m not sure if it was organic. I’m kind of worried about pesticides that contain chemicals or animal products. What is the best way to clean the vegetables? I don’t have a brush, so any other ways? Thanks!

hi asked:

Like buying from farmer’s markets once a week

I ask here because it is for a vegetarian diet, and also, you guys might be more knowledgeable on this.
did you mean per day tbontb? because 2800 per week would be 400 a day

I use Vegan marshmallows in a cereal bar recipe because I cannot find organic. Either way, there is honey too and I want to make them less sweet but figure the marshmallow is to hold them together. Alternate for marshmallows? Use less honey?
