organic recipes

It sounds weird, I know. But, I’m all freaky about saving the animals. I want to ask my mom if she’ll buy me some stuff to make organic lip balms, shampoo, and lotion. I want to try and get a license, if I’m not too young, and start a business with those. Does anyone have any recipes for shampoos, lip balms, and lotion? (My business will be cruelty free, and I will test my stuff on my own hair and skin. And please nothing with materials like fragrance, I’m allergic.)

I’m trying this new thing where I wanna use organic stuff for my face and hair. I guess it would be better for me and the environment. So if anyone has any recipes that they use or products they buy, please help!

organic gardening
Misty asked:

I recently began converting myself, and my family to go green. I bought a really good book on green housekeeping, and another on organic gardening. The one thing that I seem to be having trouble with is my personal beauty products. I know that whatever is on your skin is absorbed into your body so I want to make sure that whatever I put in my body is 100% natural. Some products are misleading however, they might say natural but not be entirely made of natural and organic ingredients. What are some brands of makeup/beauty products that have all natural organic ingredients? And how can I be sure. I’m also looking for something affordable…

I don’t mean just natural. I mean Certified organic with no pesticides, etc.
I’m specifically interested in bath/ cosmetics… I already know about Jason, Avalon, Organic Bath Co, Nature’s Gate, Shaman, the Healing Garden and Kiss My Face (I find all of these at Grocery Outlet!)…
Are there others?
I’m also looking for an organic alternative to Calgon’s English Garden powdered bubble bath.
THANK YOU!
