My husband is into organic gardening and his compost pile is making me want to barf. If there was some product to break it down, it would be a win/win for us! He is also growing blueberries/raspberries/ and a peach tree.
Thansk for any advice.

I have a dog and do not want to kennel him just so I have Weed and Feed my yard. Does anyone know of a harmless weed killer/fertilizer concoction to treat my yard. The clover and creeping charlie are starting to take over.

Im looking for a home recipe for organic bug spray. Preferably to deter misquitos. It must be animal safe as it will also be used for my goats and horse.

I’ve searched the Internet for the recipe for organic bug spray. I know you use water and liquid dish soap. But how much of each? All the websites give different amounts of soap.
I want to use this in my tomato garden.

I know lining my organic garden with newspaper and covering it with mulch/compost will help alleviate weeds, but what about regular printer or copy paper? I have reams of used (colored on and scribbled on) copy and old resume paper literally just lying around, but no newspaper. Will using this paper instead harm my garden? Thank you in advance.

I planted peppers, eggplants and a nice array of other veggies and spent over 200$ worth of organic seeds and equipment. Over the course of two days, all the plants have holes in them and I think I saw flea beetles jumping on them. So I made a mixture of garlic, oil, cayenne pepper and a tsp of soap detergent and it seemed to work, but today the bugs are back and my plants are more dead than alive! My neighbors say to use ”Sevin” but what is the purpose of organic gardening if I must resort to chemicals! I am to my wit’s end and might end up buying it since if they die I will end up buying veggies that are of course sprayed with chemicals in the first place.. oh I am so mad! I think organic gardening is almost impossible today with all these hungry pests around.. years ago I was able to grow stuff with no chemicals, I guess those days are over! Any other ideas or must i go the chemical route? Also, products as Sevin do they need to be re-sprayed after it rains? it rains almost every day here!
I read the label of Sevin and was shocked on how you must change your clothes, wear protective eye wear and a hat to protect yourself! Its ridiculous and wonder how people sane of mind would use that!
