I just moved to Val David , Quebec in the Laurentian Mountains. I realize that the mountains are probably not the best place to grow things but that is where i am , and I want to explore the possibilities of growing organic food and medicinal tea

Dude, you got me on that one. However if the soil is not tolerable you may want to check out these growing mediums called Earth Boxes.
