We planted some green beans and other vegetables in our garden and recently Japanese Beetles have been eating them. Is there a non-pesticidal way to keep them away?

my garden is organic, no sprays or pesticides have been used. And the brown looks like something has infested it, like its sucking inward.

i am trying to decide if whether i should create my own, or join one… what are the pluses or minuses…?

i am looking to find/start one that creates its own green energy, and does most if not all from scratch… (clothing, organic gardening…) what have you found to be the problems you have encountered… and what about the governing system…

a theist am I asked:

If yes, what kinds? If no, how could digestion and all sorts of other biological processes take place?

And would an absence of death of every type also mean that sin HAD to come eventually so that death could allow the planet to recycle organic materials?

Vivianna asked:

If the entire world system collapsed how would you remake society and what would you do to change it for the better? What would your perfect world be like and do you think it could work?

In my perfect world we would have no politicans everyone would get to decide how to handle community issues. We would have monorail systems connecting self-sustaining cities. No more than two children per family each family would have a hydroponic gardens. Forests would be kept wild. All material would be recycled. Organic waste turned into fertilizer for organic gardens. Large farms would pick up the slack for the gardens. People would be trained to do the jobs they would love to do. Stuff would be irrelevet. Anything you didn’t need anymore would be given away or recycled. Everyone would be given living assets for as much as they needed. No moeny would be hoarded and no corporation would be allowed to hoard assets. Excess assets would be split back into the system to all the people.
No one corporation would rule over the people and inovation would be encouraged. Magnatory vacations for six months of the year. Since there are plenty of people to work there is no reason to work anyone to death. Managers have to work along side workers and if they are found to bully workers they get to do janitorial duty. Everyone that seems not to care gets sentanced to the worst jobs. Murders would get to be power generators for the rest of there lives. They get to run on a hamster wheel with a little zapper behind them. And they get to do that for the rest of their life. Health care would be free and there would be no such thing as insurance, because emergencies would just be provided for. Older retired people would be part time teachers. Schools would be gender seperate. Relationships would be formed by personal common intrests and personalities. People wouldn’t have to stress about things anymore. Of course I don’t think it would ever happen, but I still like to dream.

ben asked:

I have black widows in my garden compost bin. Does anyone have a recommendation on how to eradicate them without harmful pesticides? I don’t mind the spiders being there because I know they are beneficial, it’s the fact that I have two small children that put organic waste in the bin as well. Wolf spiders in the garden are welcome and I teach my kids to respect them. The bite from them would hurt but wouldn’t warrant a trip to the hospital like a black widow could. Any recommendations?
