Hello everyone! I’m in Florida desperately trying to garden organically..I don’t know what these rusty looking patches are all over my poor plants…the tomato plant isn’t as effected as the jasmine and watermelon plants are..those have been completely taken over by this rusty fungus. Any help for homemade organic remedy would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all!!

I don’t want to use any harmful pesticides, especially since I’m going to be eating what I grow in my garden. I hear about people making their own organic insect control sprays, but I’m not sure if I have the time for that. Are there any organic insect killers that I can just buy?
After some searching, I came across this Safer Brand EndAll:
http://www.saferbrand.com/store/garden-care/5102.

Has anyone tried this? It targets a variety of pests and kills them at all stages of the life cycle.

I have a vegetable garden that has been growing fantastically for the past few years. But recently, I’ve had a large infestation of grubs move off the lawn (we used Grub-Ex), and they have moved into the vegetable garden, killing some of my plants. I want to find something organic so I can save my plants, but still be able to eat the veggies. Please help!

I heard that this is going to be another organic health initiative, like their vegetable garden.
I can just see all of Congress lining up with their baskets to gather eggs.

I’d like to spend my $20,000 in savings to buy multiple properties in Detroit, Michigan. According to realtor dot com, houses in Detroit start at $1, and there are over 20 houses for $100 or less. I will then remove these burnt-out homes and replace them with organic gardens and sell my produce at a farmer’s market.
Can you find three things wrong with the above idea?

OK, I make my own laundry soap. The one made from a bar of grated soap, a cup of Borax, and a 1/2 cup of Arm and Hammer Washing Soda. Sometimes I add a 1/2 a bar of Fels Naptha. The bar of soap I grate is homemade lye soap that I make. A simple recipe of just lye and lard. I know that people who garden organically have a recipe for a garden spray for insects made of soap. I plan to use the gray water from my washing machine to water my garden. I figure I can rig up a hose out the window that will reach to my garden so when I do my wash the washing machine will pump the water to the garden. My question is, as I am planning a big organic garden, can I use the wash water with the soap in it the same way the organic gardeners use their soap solution? Or, is my laundry soap recipe different than the insect soap spray? If the two recipes are different does anyone have the garden soap recipe? I do plan to use the rinse water as well but I thought the soap might be beneficial in keeping insects away. Thanks for your help.
