im planting my plants into the soil this weekend and they need to be high in nitrogen until auguest when they start flowering, then i will start with a organic liquid fertilizer rich in phosphorus… but until then, is my soil rich enough so i dont have to add any fertilizers? and i will ONLY use organic solutions because these are plants i will be ingesting..
well this IS my property, i live in canada, the land of the free and there are litterly hundreds of untouched acres behind my house, so digging up a small section of ground isn’t a big deal at all, there are no plants i killed and i know a wildflower or rare plant when i see one and of course, i leave them be… im not hurting the earth in any way and i haven’t changed the PH other than adding wood ashes…
yes there is a natural spring water well in walking distance from my plants…
im sorry, it just really pisses ME off when people think they can tell me not to plant a couple plants ORGANICALLY in a huge forest as if im STOMPING ON A FRIGGING FIELD OF ORCHIDS..
no harm done for jesus sakes.
For commercial farms, does organic certification require that all compost or other so-called organic fertilizers and purchased soil, mulch, etc.,, be screened for chemical content?
For home gardening, how can one be sure about the content of purchased soil, mulch, etc.?
*A facial cleanser
*A facial scrub (for once a week or once every two weeks (optional))
*Toner (optional)
*Facial moisturizer
I have oily skin with one or two pimples on my cheeks every week. They are those small pimples that are impossible to get rid of. My skin isn’t very smooth; kind of rough. So guys, please help me find a skin care solution which will take care of all these problems. Especially my OILY skin. Of course, I want you guys to recommend products that are strictly organic or all natural. I already tried kiss my face organic moisturizer. It’s ok, but then I recently found that some of the ingredients aren’t really safe. I’m also using Burt’s Bee’s garden tomato complexion soap right now - it’s also ok, not giving me the best results.
Also, please DO NOT recommend these:
• Avalon Organics
• Desert Essence Organics
• Earth’s Best Organic
• Eminence Organic (Except Few w/USDA Seal)
• Giovanni Organic
• Goodstuff Organics
• Head Organics
• Jason Pure, Natural Organic
• Kiss My Face Obsessively Organic
• Nature’s Gate Organics
• Physicians Formula Organic Wear
• Stella McCartney 100% Organic
I read that it can be used for vegetable gardens and starting seeds?
Is this true? And is that god for seed starting/vegetale gardens?
So the other day I asked…
Why Do Republicans Feel It’s Necessary to LIE About Legislation with Which They Disagree?
So far I’ve read lies…
about gun control (http://www.factcheck.org/askfactcheck/di…
about hate crimes (http://www.factcheck.org/askfactcheck/wo… )
about expanding AmericCorps. (http://www.factcheck.org/askfactcheck/wa… ) (http://www.factcheck.org/askfactcheck/is… )
about the Freedom of Choice Act (http://www.factcheck.org/askfactcheck/wh…
about…organic gardening?!!? (http://www.factcheck.org/askfactcheck/wo… )
Why Do Republicans Feel It’s Necessary to Lie About Legislation with Which They Disagree?
And Right WIngers said quite maturely, I might add, Democrats have done it too! So what legislation have they(the Democrats) disagreed with and then lied about in an effor to defeat its passage? And let’s try to keep it fairly recent because my examples are ALL recent. Thanks!

Now, im starting a plastic greenhouse outdoors but as container style gardening in the greenhouse. I would like to grow from seed. (maybe buy teen plants from armstrong and transplant) Should I plant in Edna’s Best potting soil or plant into compost? Im new to this..I plan to grow any berry, fruit, vegetable or herb that can be grown in the fairly small space I will be having.
Now, lets break down the ingredients in this particular soil bag. Mushroom compost, earthworm castings, chicken manure, and bat guano. Im sure these are very nice for the plants but should this type of mix be used to grow things that we plan to eat??
Im also going to purchase a soil test kit for testing of PH, phosphorus, potassium, and nitrogen. Will there be a universal value or does each vegetable or fruit have its own preferences on soil levels?
Also, I hear composting is a good organic way to grow stuff. But, I also heard you shouldnt compost in container gardening. I dont mind a fertilizer as long as its organic. Whats best?
Perlite or volcanic Pumice? or both? :p
