I recently started sprouting vegetables on my plants.. and they have seemed to attract these weird red bugs that latch onto my tomatoes. My mother said that adding a few drops of dish soap to the water will help get rid of bugs and i have done that for about 3 days and it hasn’t helped out with getting rid of those bugs. I need a non-pesticide way of getting rid of bugs without ruining the integrity of my organic garden. Have any ideas.
I have no idea what kind of bugs they are I have looked on the internet and i cant find anything about them. I have spiders, lizards, wasps, a collection of different bugs in my garden but these are different. They latch onto my tomatoes.. all bugs on one tomato. They kind of look like spider ants. They have longer legs, bright red bodies with a black spot on the butt. If anyone knows where i can find information about garden bugs let me know. I just dont want them to ruin my fruits or vegetables

I want to start a small organic garden on land that was sprayed with weed killer some time ago. Can I make it safe to grow food on?

I don’t want to use chemical products and I don’t want to poison them either. I just want them to be repulsed somehow by using some natural spray.

I have a flower garden underneath pine trees. Earwigs are the biggest pest, eating holes into the leaves of all my lovely flowers!

I m preparing my veggie bed for the winter time. I want to make square garden beds instead of having a long one. I also want to raise my beds so I do not have to bend over too much. Anyhow, this year I ‘ve had troubles to clear my veggie bed from punctior weeds and other weeds. I prefer organic gardening. My question, should I remove my soil and start all over with my new framed garden beds or should I find a solution to use the same soil but not getting anymore punctior weed next year? Help! As I do not know what is the better way ?
Dumbheads. It’s not that kind of weed!!!!!! It is plants that do more harm to the veggies and the soil than towards my veggie plants! REally only Garden Expert’s can help here

I will removing junk (scrap metal and car parts) and gravel in order to increase space for my vegetable garden. The soil will be most likely in horrible condition so I wanted to know some of the best methods to restore it. Some things I already plan do to are:

1) break up the soil
2) add bits of compost
3) plant legumes to add nitrogen

What else should I do, and what challenges should I expect?

I eat organic foods whenever possible. I’m going to be making a vegetable garden that is pesticide-free and, therefore, organic. However, I do know that chemicals linger in non-organic produce (which is, of course, why I don’t buy it!). Will compost made from non-organic foods compromise the organicity of my garden and vegetables? How do you know? Thanks!
